Refer to the long-term care (LTC) institution mentioned in question one of the Week 1 debate.
You’ll create an entity relationship (ER) diagram for the LTCView data warehouse, which includes data streams from five separate client registration systems as well as three different clinical documentation systems.
You will use a software of your choosing to create the diagram (listed above).
Remember that we represent entities as rectangles and relationships as diamond shapes when creating your ER diagram in the software.
o Keep in mind that relationships between entities can be one-to-one or one-to-many, and your ER diagram should reflect this.
Consider the entities engaged in the LTC procedures of client registration and clinical documentation while creating your ER diagram in the software.
o Consider the people who are involved in these processes in senior living and skilled nursing institutions.
In your paper, you state:
Explain the entities you drew in your lab and the kind of data each of these entities produces, which can be accessed in the LTCView data warehouse.
Describe the connections between these entities, as well as your reasoning for each one-to-one or one-to-many data relationship.
Compare and contrast the sorts of entities in your ER diagram and their relative importance in relation to the LTCView data warehouse’s business intelligence functionalities.
